First Day
Malga Sorgazza to Rifugio O .Brentari - Cima
d’Asta (3 hours / 1.026Mt)
Malga Sorgazza (1450m) – form the car park
take the path SAT 327 which after about a 3
hour walk will bring you to the refuge –
Rifugio O Brentari (2476m)
From here you can also ascend to the top of
the mountain or ‘Zimon’ (2847m) – the
highest point of the whole group with a
fantastic panorama.
Second Day
Rifugio O Brentari to the refuge at
Caldenave – Rifugio Caldenave (6 hours /
399Mt)
Start out by taking the path SAT 375 to
Passo Socede (2516m).
Then take SAT 380bis which starts out
descending before going up to Forcella Magna
(2117m).
From here take no.373 to Forcella Buse
Todesche (2309m)
After which you follow no.360 descending to
the small mountain lakes of Val d’Inferno
and finally to the Caldenave Refuge (1792m)
Third Day
Rifugio Caldenave to Malga Sorgazza ( 5
hours / 605Mt)
Begin by taking path no. 332 which rises up
to Forcella Ravetta.
From here take 332bis to Forzelon de Rava,
at this point it is possible to make a short
deviation up to the top of Cimon di Rava
(2436m)
Continue along path no.328 passing Forcella
Quarazza then going down to the lake at
Costabrunella (2021m)
Continue the decent until reaching Malga
Sorgazza.
A difference in altitude of about 2.030
meters – Walking distance is approximately
13 hours
